People often ask "how do you help someone with a project"? Well here are a couple of examples of how we work and what we do.
Tom, a busy manager, had to produce a quarterly newsletter. The publication had to appeal to people of all ages and tastes, packing a lot of information into an easy to read, visually attractive format.
The problem was that producing the magazine took up too much of Tom's time.
The solution was easy ... provide ASA&A with all the basic information, photos etc. and we'll do the rest. Working with simple facts, existing photos and artwork, we turned them into an informative and entertaining magazine.
It only took a couple of meetings to establish what the publication needed to achieve and how ASA&A could help Tom. Once the content was determined and the 'rough material' and facts handed over (or emailed) the magazine was straightforward to create.
Only a little original art work and written copy was required - costs could be kept at a minimum.
A final meeting saw the work proofed and approved and sent off to the printers - 'job done'.
Subsequent work has gone smoothly and quickly, to everyone's satisfaction and Tom has a little more time for other important work.
Some of the services we offer are quite unusual but fun so here's a foxy tale to entertain you.
Bad Fox Fergus goes to Town.
Fergus fox strolls into town,
his fur is red and rusty brown,
his tongue is pink, his teeth are white
and he makes mischief in the night.
Squirmy wormy under the gate,
trots up the lane to meet his mate,
sings her a song and leaves his mark,
a smelly old fox in the dark, dark, dark.
Next he frightens the fat Tom Cat,
snatches his food and piddles on the mat,
jumps on the top step, he doesn't care,
over go the dustbins - there's rubbish everywhere.
Suddenly a light goes on, a man is swearing hard,
"the fox is at the bins again, I'll turn him into lard"
but bad fox Fergus turns neatly on his claws,
and scampers up the lane on his paw, paw, paws.
Softly softly in the gloom, Fergus jumps a wall,
tiptoes across a lawn in answer to a call,
somebody is waiting with sandwiches of cheese,
and he smiles at the lady who gives him all of these.
Then Fergus runs on to the evenings last stop,
the savoury scented car park of a famous chicken shop,
where all the pretty pickings are whisker licking good
and foxes dine on bones and bits as only foxes could.
Well fortune smiled on foxy boy that very night you see,
a chicken bucket tumbled as a man searched for a key,
succulence fell everywhere, the gods were feeling kind,
and there were drumsticks in the car park for any fox to find.
Fine fine foxes are feeding on the floor,
eating lovely morsels, well who could ask for more?
After royal feasting there's water in the park,
and thirsty Fergus drinking in the dark, dark, dark.
Fergus fox trots out of town,
he's dined on chicken, golden brown,
he smiles a smile, things have gone right,
He'll do it again tomorrow night!
